Building Network Marketing using Internet, Part I: The importance of trust in Network Marketing

Network Marketing is a people business, “people” as in I see you and you see me, you hear me and I hear you. We establish a relationship of trust when we talk with someone and let them know we are going to be there for them when they need us.

How long does it take to create that trust? Sometimes minutes, sometimes months! That’s why we are told to come up with a list of names of people we know, namely, family and friends: because we already have a relationship of trust with them. If we tell them we got involved in this business that is going to set us free financially, we can add “you know I don’t fall just or anything” and they may believe us. Besides their own believes and thoughts about Network Marketing, we have more chances to make business with someone we know just because of that trust.

Stay at home mom: How can you work at home?

For many Stay At Home Moms entertaining the idea of going back to work, the thought of leaving the children in daycare (as good as it might be) is heart wrenching. We want to be there as much as possible. Grandparents, close relatives and best friends sound like a good option, but having to hear those “guess what she did today!” or “have you noticed he has a new tooth?” is hard to deal with.

It’s then when the possibility of Working At Home becomes more attractive. But, what are our options? Can we do it? Do we have to stop paying attention to our children?

The options for working at home can be divided in two big categories: jobs and businesses. Either option requires that you give something to get something.

The most important thing you have to give is time. A Stay At Home Mom has to juggle chores, schedules, finances, etc. If we are going to add something extra (alas, working from home) we have to be aware that any new activity, in order to be successful, requires time and effort. Time management and discipline are essential.

The commitment to our children comes first. That means accepting that sometimes we will have to rearrange our work schedule if we have to tend to stuffed noses or help with homework. You have to learn to maximize your time through leverage. In this aspect, using the Internet is a must.

Either with a job or a home business, a Stay At Home Mom can work at home. It takes dedication and discipline but the rewards are worth it. Part of being a good mom is to have good self esteem, and working from home might be good for your confidence. Do your research and make a decision!

Dos meses despues - Two months later

Sigo aprendiendo mucho sobre como usar Internet en Network Marketing. Ya hice mi primer video hace varias semanas. Tengo contenido en posts y articulos sobre todo. Me falta participar en foros. Ahora tengo que enfocarme mas en atraer trafico. Es emocionante ver como las visitas aumentan. Es como prospectar sin el nerviosismo ni estres de inscribir a todo el que se me acerca!.

Voy a comenzar a poner posts sobre los articulos que ido escribiendo para crear enlaces reciprocos y aumentar el valor de mi contenido.

I keep learning a lot about how to use the Internet in Network Marketing. I made a first video weeks ago. I have good content in blog posts and articles but I have to work on participating in forums. My focus now has to be traffic. It's exciting to see how the visits increase, it's like prospecting without the nervousness or stress of signing everyone up!

I'm going to start posting about the articles I've written to create backlinks and enhance the value of my content.

DIA 90 El comienzo (The beginning)

Que nostalgia!!! No puedo creer que ya pasaron 90 dias... Hoy dia he seguido escribiendo, ya casi no puedo parar. Todavia tengo que trabajar en mi nueva pagina web pero tenia que probar una tecnica que nos enseno Anthony anoche en la lamada de entrenamiento: escribir por 20 minutos sin parar, ni siquiera corrigiendo errores. Que poderoso, no podia parar! Bueno, de ahi ya tengo para varios post de mi blog, articulos, y futuros reportes y hasta e-book. TAmbien tengo el primer borrador de mi escript para el video de esta semana. Cuando tenga mas cosas voy a regresar para contar y agregar enlaces.

Estos 90 dias han sido increibles. He aprendido mucho y sigo aprendiendo; pero lo mas importante es que es posible construir un negocio de Mercadeo de Redes usando Internet. Estoy en las primeras paginas de google con varias busquedas y estoy teniendo trafico a mis paginas web (articulos, lenses, eso). Cada dia hago algo mas, trabajo todos los dias y me siento mas que nunca una profesional. En un par de meses mas voy a estar ganando dinero consistentemente. He estado grabando todos los dias mi vida de ensueno y es algo que voy a seguir haciendo. Estoy comenzando un camino lleno de promesas y seguridad: el camino al exito sin excusas.

I feel so nostalgic! I can't believe it has been 90 days already. Today I was writing and I couldn't stop. I still have to work on my new website but I had to try a technique Anthony taught us last night in the training call: to write non stop for 20 minutes. How powerful! I couldn't stop. NOw I have material for posts, articles and future reports and e-book. I also have the first draft for the script to my first video this week. When I have more things I'll come back to tell you and add links.

These 90 days have been great. I've learned a lot and I keep learning but the most important thing is that it is possible to build a Network Marketing business using Internet. I'm in the first page of google for more than one keyword and I have some traffic to my websites (articles, lenses, that). I work every day and I feel a professional more than ever. In a couple of months I'll be making money consistently. I've been recording my dream life every day and playing it back, and I'm going to keep doing it. I'm beginning a road of hopes and confidence: the road to success without excuses.

DIA 89 Uno mas (One more)

Ahora tengo una idea mas clara de lo que quiero para mi video (videos). Si no lo hago manana, voy a regresar cuando lo tenga listo. En realidad filme algo unas semanas atras pero no me gusto para nada porque hablaba muy lento y poco natural. Es que no estaba preparada, solo estaba probando. Pero ya tengo la idea y ahora ya se mejor que puedo decir. Lo mas importante primero va a ser trabajar en el script, no para memorizarlo sino para hablar con seguridad. Estoy emocionada por lo que viene. YA tengo cosas en las primeras paginas de Google y tengo que trabajar en generar trafico. Y tambien voy a seguir escribiendo.

Now I have a better idea of what I want in my video (videos). If I don't have it ready for tomorrow, I'm going to come back here when it's ready. I actually recorded something about 2 weeks ago but I didn't like it because I was speaking to slowly and it wasn't natural. It's because I wasn't ready, I only wanted to test it. But I have a better idea of what to say and how to say it. The first and most important thing is to work on the script, not to memorize it but to speak with confidence. I'm excited for what is coming. I'm in the first pages of Google and I have to work on generating traffic. I'm going to keep writing, too.

DIA 88 Dos dias... (Two days to go)

Hoy dia termine mi articulo para mi tercer lens sobre Network Marketing Moms y escribi in my blog del mismo tema. Voy a parar ahi un rato para hacer el video y preparar mi nueva pagina web. Me faltan hacer mas articulos para mis 2 ultimos lenses; pero esta bien. Poco a poco. Dije que iba a tener mi video antes de los 90 dias, asi que tengo que hacer aunque sea un primer intento. Lo que quiero aprender es a editar para agregarle letras; pero tengo que comenzar con el video en si. Voy a agregar los links que faltaban con el resto de enlaces en los cuadros de informacion aqui al costado.

Today I finished the article about my third lens about Network Marketing Moms and I posted in my Network Marketing blog, too. I'm going to stop there for a while to record the video and prepare my new website. I still have more articles to write about my last 2 lenses but I'm going to take it easy and go little by little. I said I was going to have a video ready before my 90 days so I have to have at least a draft. What I want to do is learn how to edit and add letters; but I have to start with the video at least. I'm going to add links to my new lens and hubpage in the resource box on the side.
